Dear Kavitha,
Hope you are doing good.
You need to set the UME parameters correctly. If there was an issue with the memory, the whole server node would be affected (not just the UME service).
->ume.persistence.data_source_configuration=
dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml
->ume.login.guest_user.uniqueids : J2EE_GUEST
->ume.r3.connection.master.client :
< Backend client to which the j2ee has to be connected >
->ume.r3.connection.master.msghost
->ume.r3.connection.master.r3name :
->ume.r3.connection.master.user :SAPJSF (SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION should
be assigned in the backend)
->ume.r3.connection.master.passwd: <passwd of the sapjsf user>
and is the ABAP server up and running (and reachable from the JAVA server? ).
If the issue persists, please can you trigger a restart of the engine (let us know the time) and then attach:
1)
The default trace file (latest)
/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<nr>/cluster/server0/logs/default trace.trc
2)
Download UME configuration from server0 and attach it to this message as per:
<http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/45/2c5feeaee22b32e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm>
