Re: Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Hello All,

We've applied Support Pack 6 and all subsequent notes.  Lines 14-16 are looking great with one exception.  We only offer COBRA coverage for dental and vision.  Medical is administered by a 3rd party.  As a result, our COBRA plans in infotype 212 are only dental and vision plans.  We've populated all our active medical plans in V_T77BENUS_ASPCC and identified them as Minimum Essential Coverage, Minimum Value Offered etc.  We did not enter dental and vision plans in this table.

Our issue is once an active employee terminates and switches to COBRA coverage (dental and/or vision) ACA reporting is considering them still enrolled in minimum essential coverage.  Dental and vision were never set up for that.  Same scenario is occurring with dependents electing COBRA dental and vision independent of their parents as in when they turn 26.  I don't think the code is verifying the plan is medical in infotype 212.  If it did, it would see there are not medical plans and therefore the person is not enrolled.

Any assistance would be great.

Thank you.

Vanessa
